Here's an update on Grammie and Grandpa. Grandpa is home and in good spirits. He's making good progress on his mobility and this weekend was able to take a jitney ride to survey the new coat of paint on the farm; examine the newly pruned pear and apple trees and sit in the sunshine and enjoy the birds. The pear trees are beginning to bloom and Grandpa correctly predicted that the Orioles would soon follow, which they did Saturday afternoon!
I took some photos of the paint and the trees. BTW, thanks to all who have contributed to the pruning. The trees all look great after their first round of pruning and spraying.

| New coat of paint and newly painted shutters. Sharp, don't you think? They even painted the little hand pump by the shed as well as the pipes to the oil tank. |
 |
| What do you think from this angle? You can barely see the tippity top of the chicken house, but even that is gleaming with its new coat of paint and freshly glazed windows. It all looks sparkling clean! Even the barn windows from the tie up area were completely repaired and glazed. You have to check it out in person. |

| The apple and pear trees have been thoroughly pruned and sprayed. There will be three more treatments later on in the year. |
 |
| The Seckel Pear tree was gorgeous with all the blossoms. |
